Why is it important to be prepared for attacks on our Christian faith?

It is important because we need to be armed with the Sword of Truth. Attacks for our beliefs as Christians will surely come, and we need to know and truly rely on God’s word to sustain the attacks. Satan will use people and words to create doubt in us, but when we can remember what God has said is true, we will not fall prey the those attacks.

It is important because attacks are inevitable, and we need to know how to defend ourselves. Just as an army prepares for war, we need to be prepared for attacks on our faith. We need to arm ourselves with the Word.

Because it has happened from the outset. From the Judaizers, to the Romans, to modern culture, Christianity has been on the world’s hit list for quite a while We are all going to be faced with those who are uninterested.

The Bible asks us to be ready in season and out of season. to be prepared to give a reason for our faith. We live in a culture of sin, so its important to have discernment and stick to the teachings of Christ.

Always be prepared to give an answer for what you believe. We live in a fallen, broken, sinful world.
