Why is it important to be prepared for attacks on our Christian faith?

It is important to be prepared for attacks on our Christian faith because we know it is coming. We are privileged to live in a country where, officially, we are not persecuted for our faith. We can take for granted our right to attend church and go to Christian schools. The country was founded on religious freedom…a separation of church and state. But even this founding principle is being turned against Christians. Rather than it being protected, we are now being told that we cannot talk about our faith in schools because it might infringe on other’s right not to believe. Today, I believe this concept creates anger in many Christians, and sadly, many “Christians” are acting out in violent and irrational, and certainly un-Christlike ways. If we are prepared to address these attack, we can determine our responses in more kind, peaceful, and Christ-like manners.

It will be important to be prepared for attacks on our Christian faith because they will happen. They will always seem to happen to when things feel like they are going “right” in life and then the devil feels the need to attack us at that point in time.

We are told from the Bible we will have troubles in this world but that He has overcome the world.

We have to be prepared because everyone faces challenges.

All Christians will face adversity and doubts throughout their life. It is important to prepare answers for difficult questions, even before they arise.
