We are meant to walk in faith with a community, not alone. A church can provide accountability, resources, and mentors.

We are called to be a body of believers, but I like how John writes about us in John chapter one: we are given the right to be called Children of the Most High. So we are a family. Families, no matter how strange the members may be and how strange they may be to one another, are built up, challenged, equipped, encouraged, loved and even corrected but other family members. We are good for one another and Jesus who set this way in motion knew that we needed this. it is how He works through us toward one another.

We are not made to walk our faith alone but in a community of believers, the local church is where we can do that.

Because then we have the opportunity to practice Faith, serve others and develop the community we live in

Being involved in a local church provides accountability and a place to grow in your faith in Christ. Corporate worship is just one benefit of the local church.
