The Bible tells us that we are to gather together with others in the study of scripture and fellowship. In Hebrews 10:24,25 we see the author speaking about considering one another to encourage love and good works, along with gathering together. -

It is a place where we can encourage one another to walk in God’s way. It is also an avenue of accountability – that church leaders can hold us accountable for our behaviour and action and our spiritual growth.
