To have fellowship and surround oneself with believers. Encouragement and support comes from the attendance and fellowship with others. To spend time in Christ’s presence.

The local church is a faith community that offers several different opportunities for individuals to grow in Christ. The church is not only a place where individual followers of Jesus can gather together and corporately worship (be poured into), but is also a place where followers of Jesus can serve one another (pour out).

Involvement in the church places oneself with like minded believers in Jesus Christ our Savior. Much spiritual growth takes when we interact with fellow believers. Our love for Jesus is imparted as we have fellowship with one another. Also Jesus imparts Himself among us.

For growth in the Christian faith, as a testimony to that faith, and to support one another in this far from perfect world.

It’s a place we can have fellowship with other believers and develop spiritually.
