Why is it important to do macro-observation of a Bible book before doing micro-observation?

Because then we can understand what the story wants to say. We want to understand the story first need to observe the macro. Through the facts and writing style of each person that God gave to write according to His guidance.

We can’t get the full understanding of the bits and pieces until we understand the circumstances of the whole. Our minds use all of our senses in order to properly process information. We have to see and feel and touch the time period and circumstances of the writer in order to correctly interpret the meaning of what he says. Many, many people have gone down dangerous paths because they did not take the time to ask these questions and fully understand their answers.

If we don’t do a macro-observation of a Bible book before a micro-observation, we can distort the meaning of passages. A macro-observation provides the background we need to study accurately.

it’s important because a general understanding of the book of the Bible, helps to understand the verse in its context better and help with a misinterpretation.

Learning the compositional makeup of the Bible is fundamental in understanding the meanings and gaining Godly wisdom. Asking the six questions helps me frame the circumstances of the different books.
