Why is it important to know the particular issue Paul addresses in each of his Epistles?

The importance lies not only in the circumstances f the churches back in his day but more importantly our circumstances today. Just as in Revelation we see our own churches, our own people how far short we have fallen.

Each issue has implications and lessons for us in the lives we live today. Paul’s instructions are still applicable for us.

Because we can find that amongst the churches of today, and we can learn not to repeat those Paul addressed.

It’s important to gain the knowledge and understanding of the issues addressed in each.

Context is very powerful to understand it well and it brings his journey alive. We must understand the history and reasons why we believe what we do.
