Because those same issues are seen in churches today and Paul gives us instructions on how to lovingly deal with these issues. Each of his letters help us live a more abundant life in Christ.

Whatever Paul writes on his epistles had meaning not only to the churches he originally addressed, but also to churches throughout the church age. Whether it be doctrinal in nature, or practical instructions on relationships and behaviour, churches will always need the teaching and advice that Paul supplies in his epistles.

It is important to know the particular issue Paul addresses in each of his Epistles because then the “lesson” can be applied. Additionally, when someone is able to apply the teachings from each Epistles, they will in turn start experiencing the “revolutionary change” that God has intended for their lives.

Each Epistle has its own central theme and by knowing each Epistles particular issue and then combining them gives us a bigger picture on how to live a Christian life.
