By understanding each issue of the Pauline Epistles, the church today, as well as individual people, can learn how to live as Christ wants us to. Because each Epistle addresses a specific issue(s), we can take all of the instruction Paul gives and use it to share the gospel as well as live in unity.

Paul addresses different issues in his Epistles. Knowing how Paul addressed these issues can help us apply Godly principles to our own lives.

Context is always key to getting a full understanding. When we know the issue that Paul is writing about we know that he had heard about what was going on at that particular church and what issues were happening around the church. We can see central themes in the letter and we understand why each letter is different.

So we can read with understanding and context which will help us respond and live out his teachings correctly. It will keep us from error and from wandering off course.
