Each of the Epistles addresses a different issue regarding our faith. The message each coveys helps us to further understand our walk with Christ. The letters all help to prove that the Good News of the Gospel is too powerful to ignore. So, all the Epistles share the same basic message yet are each unique in their presentation of this message.

It is important to know the particular issues Paul addresses in each of his Epistles because he had different relationships with each of the churches. Each letter explains why Paul is writing to them, what issue he was addressing, what encouragement he could give to them. It is also important to note that the answers Paul gave his churches back then apply to today and our lives just as much.

As it was said in this lesson the Gospel is too important to ignore and we are to share the Gospel at every opportunity we have. The issues that Paul came across in each of his epistles we see in the world today, some of which are much more intense than in his time.

It’s important to know the context of what was going on in each church because it gives us perspective from where Paul was writing from.

It helps us to understand paul, the audience and helps us put it into context for their lives but also how we can apply the principles in each epistle to our lives today
