Supporting parents will help them play their roles better in training their children. When parents are exposed to best practices from Christian educators it rubs off on their children and enhances their learning.

They are the first to impact the child’s life and we must help support them as they introduce their child to Christ. Encouraging them and helping guide them enables them to provide a positive atmosphere for their child.

God’s had ordained parents to be children’s authority in a child’s life. Furthermore, they are responsible for leading them to Christ and preparing them for life. Neither a school or a teacher can replace a parent. So it is very important to partner with parents and even to remind parents of their God-given responsibilities.

It is important to support parents because they are the ones that impact a child’s belief. They are the ones who have the responsibility of the child and who the child spends the most time with.

The parents have primary responsibility for children according to God’s Word. A teacher can support and encourage but never replace a parent’s role. Equipping parents is the best way to ensure success for the students and the school.
