Why is it important to support parents?

It is so important to support parents because God instituted the dynamic of family – Father, Mother, Child- and in this dynamic we have the setup in which to lead the world with God’s Kingdom principle of structure, where the parents know their role as not only caretakers, but instructors, guiders, tutors to their children, so the child will excel in becoming a world changer. This is where we as Christian educators come alongside the parents to brace them up with the encouragement, they need to lead the way in their homes.

God commands the parents as first teachers to pass on biblical principles and behavior. It would be against God’s desire to undermine parental authority. Teachers and parents must partner together for the equipping of the next generation to take up their role as teachers and parents for their children.

God intentionally and purposefully built the family to be a place to raise children. Parents have chosen to allow me to partner in the education of their children.

We are a team working together for the benefit of their child!

Because Christian education begins in the home! The parents are the first and most important teachers that the child has.
