When we support parents, it not only makes our jobs as educators easier but also demonstrates that we are strong team players. Additionally, parents feel valued and cared for, making them more likely to support us in return.
Parents who feel supported are more engaged in their child’s education, build stronger partnerships with teachers, and contribute to a positive and collaborative learning environment. -
Parents are regarded as the caretakers of their children, entrusted by God to train them in His ways. This task is not an easy one. The feedback and reports we provide to about their children are crucial, as they rely on us for guidance. Therefore, it requires a great deal of intentionality in integrating scriptures and making them see things from God’s perspective. This approach significantly eases the training process for parents.

It is important because they play a foundational role in their children’s education and spiritual development.

For me, it’s just a simple requirement, being kind:) However, going through this course, I see that we are required as Christian educators to provide support for families to succeed in their God-given roles, more like a partnership between God, parents, and Christian schools.

It is essential to support parents because they are the key link to our students. When parents feel comfortable enough to engage with the teachers and educators, they can discuss challenges and seek solutions. Additionally, when we earn the trust of parents in our community, we are also more likely to win the hearts of their children.
