Parents are given the primary responsibility, by God, to train up a child in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. We are their partners in this training, and should support them the best that we can. We are not here to usurp the authority of parents, but to support them. The more we support parents, the easier our job becomes.

Parents are given an incredible responsibility for the spiritual development of their children. In this world, there are many things that can make that responsibility difficult. They need to know that there is someone who prays for them and is willing to help support them in this role.

Parents should be the primary teachers of kids especially when it comes to the Bible and God. Teaching is coming into a partnership with a student’s parents to work alongside them in training up the student into a strong leader and follower of Christ.

Because the family is the first God’s given community to raise children, the parent’s role is primarily important. So Christian educators always look for ways to support parents.

It is important to support parents, because they have the primary role of raising children in the love and admonition of the Lord. They have put their children in our hands and can often feel anxious or fearful at their progress or lack thereof.
