Why is it important to support parents?

It is important to support parents because they are who God entrusted the child with. They are the ultimate decision making factor for them (with the exception of God). We need to work with them in order to help their children grow, be nurtured, and to learn. Fighting that would only cause chaos and confusion for the children.

Our job as Christian educators is to partner with them in the raising of their children.

Parents are the main teachers in their home. Without their support, no matter what I say, it means nothing.

Parents are the first and primary teachers of their children. We want to encourage them in raising their children, and come alongside them to reinforce biblical principles they are teaching in the home.

The primary responsibility of the parent is to raise the child. My role as an educator is to assist them in that endeavor while highlighting the truths of God’s Word found in a Biblical Worldview.
