Raising a child is a collaborative endeavor involving all stakeholders. If the values and principles instilled at home differ significantly from those taught at school, the child may experience confusion. Therefore, it is crucial for schools to support parents in fostering a consistent set of values and principles.

Collaboration with parents especially in the training and discipline of the child minimizes raising unruly children, reduces loop holes in child growth.

It’s important to support parents because they are the ones making the decision to attend your school. If your school cannot support them, they may go elsewhere to find that support, and that elsewhere may not be a Christian school. You need to be able to support your parents to support your students.

It’s important to support parents so they can partner with you in providing the best education for their children. We are partners with them for the education of their child, so supporting them also provides support for the child you’re educating.

Nothing we do will get supported and have long term results unless the parents buy in. If a parent resists us, it will bleed into the classroom and make it harder to have an impact. If parents are with us, then it makes it easier to fulfill the mission of the organization. This matters.
