Because parents are given the primary responsibility to train up their children. We need to be careful to play our roles as educators, encouraging and supporting the parents in their God given role.

Supporting parents in a small school Cristian environment is crucial since they are the heart of the school,
they are always there willing to help to follow their children education and sports. -
Supporting parents is crucial for a Christian school because to be a christian school is be apart of not just a community that invests in one another but a community that is in fact a family with an eternal mindset.

It is important to support parents because as educators we want a team approach. If we want parents to invest in their child’s education, we need to let them know ways they can do so and show them how crucial they are in their child’s success. They need to be certain that we are behind them and not just their child’s cheerleader, but theirs as well! If we communicate that we love their child and want what is best for them, they will more than likely hop on board!

Parents have been given their role from God to raise their children in the ways of the Lord. The parents have handed some of that over to us for a time being. The role still belongs to them. We are helping them, supporting them, and sometimes guiding them to fulfill their role.
