Why is it important to support parents?

School and home should be working together for the best possible outcome with kids. If we are fighting against each other it is the kids who will suffer.

Parents should feel comfortable at the school and with the teacher and that often comes from knowing the teacher. The teacher can give parents support to solidify the home and school connection as science shows this is important for student learning.

I think it makes parents feel part of the community and it encourages them to get more involved in other areas.

It is important to support parents because we are all in this together to help teach and train our kids.

God created the patents to raise the children. We are helpers in their child’s education. We can offer help and ideas but in the end, it is the parent’s choice.
