Why is it important to teach Scripture to children?

Scripture holds all truth for all time. If we want our children to know God and have a truly fulfilled life, they must know Scripture.

It is the foundation for our faith.
Christ quoted Scripture over and over again as examples…so should we.

Thy Word have I hid in my heart.

It helps develop a relationship with God. Introducing them to his character and providing guidance.

It is important because we as Christian educators need to help our students develop a relationship with God, introduce them to his character, provide guidance for their lives, offering them hope and encouragement and laying down foundations for moral values.
