The importance of teaching scripture to children So that they can tuck it away in their heart. So that they can go back to God’s word to answer all questions so that they speak the truth biblically to those around them and know what is right and wrong.

In a world that is growing more and more divisive, students need a source for truth. That source is found in God’s inerrant word.

We need to teach scripture to children so they have a foundation in which to find the answers to life. They have that to lean on when the world becomes a difficult place to live and the world starts to “beat them down.” They have knowledge of who they are, that they are loved, and there is a Creator who loves them.

We need to train our children in the scripture so when they are old they can pass along the Good News to the next generation. God wants none to perish, therefore we must teach the Scripture.
