In order to have a relationship with God, we need to be in His Word so that we can know Him; so that we can know what He loves and know what He doesn’t love so that we can live our lives for Him. “All Scripture is given be inspirations of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for corrections, and for instruction of righteousness.” We need to teach our children this so that they can live their life with the purpose that God imparted onto them.

Those lessons come to mind as the Holy Spirit directs, when we most need them. God whispers the scripture into our hearts and minds when it’s the right time and if we apply it, we can learn to make the choice that would best honor God.
