We plant the seeds and we shape their Biblical worldview, so that when times are hard and the world throws its secular truth on them, they will know right from wrong.

Jesus also warned in Revelation about changing or adding or taking away from the Word. The Bible also talks about the hearing of the Word, (Romans 10:17) and the students should not only hear the Word, but they should also be taught hermeneutics so that they not only understand their faith and are able to make it their own, but they are also “tooled up” to defend their faith in the world and university where the truth of the Bible is under attack. Don’t just read it, teach it.

Even if they choose to walk away, God has written eternity on all man’s heart and if you have planted seeds and pointed them in the direction they should go, then they are much more likely to return.
