Why is it important to teach Scripture to children?

So that they can grow up learning to look at the Book of Life to teach them where to go next in all examples.

The Word of God is a powerful source of strength, protection, and hope that gives us guidance throughout our entire lives. It is an essential part of being a Christian and becoming more like Christ.

It gives them a foundation that leads the student to repentance. Also, on a personal note, I went to a Christian school from 2nd grade until I graduated high school and the scriptures that pop into my head when I need them the most were planted while I was at school, home and church. By learning the scriptures early and continuing to study and apply to a students life they develop a confidence that God is with them through every situation.

It is important to teach scriptures to children because they need to know the truth so they can have a relationship with God, and follow God until eternity.
