Why is it important to teach Scripture to children?

Scripture is the revealed Word of God, without error in all it teaches. Therefore, it is vital that children embrace it as Jesus HImself embraced the Old Testament. As teachers, we hope they understand what it means to live as children of God in a good, although marred, world the Father has created.

Because scriptures teach children about truth, life, and the hereafter. Also, it teaches about the love God has for us by sacrificing his only son for our sins.

The reason why we teach scripture to children is because scripture is the inerrant word of God. Scriptures give us answers to daily life questions.

It teaches them about important life issues. Bible stories feature different struggles faced by different individuals and how they were able to overcome it. These stories can serve as important life lessons that your child can carry with them at all times.

It is the word of God, i.e. there is no other place to turn that has the truths of life.
