Scripture teaches us to do precisely to this. We are told to teach our children. Train is the word used in Scripture. One old preacher said it best, “we RAISE chickens, but we TRAIN children. No training for a child would be complete without the inclusion and memorization of Scripture.

By teaching Scripture to children, we provide them with a solid foundation to positively influence their moral, spiritual, and intellectual development, helping them grow into well-rounded individuals.

So that they can hide God’s word in their heart and apply it to their life

As the Bible tells us, when Scripture is taught from a young age, it will be hidden in hearts and it will be hard to depart from when growing older.

Teach a child in the way they should go and they will not depart from it. This will help them navigate a confusing and evil world.
