If you’ve grieved this kind of loss in the past, what kind of support was most helpful to you? If you’re currently grieving this kind of loss, who specifically can you reach out to for support?

It’s important to connect with others when you’re grieving the loss of a loved one because you need the support. You need the help from other people to keep moving forward. When I lost my mother and my father pastoral care and Christians provided great support to me. You can reach out to your pastors, your friends and counselors when you experience a loss through death.

Yes, I have experienced this kind of grief in the past. my family, friends, pastor, and counselors were my support.

I still find myself currently grieving and will reach out to my Pastor, get involved in serving within my church, and spend more time reading the Bible.

Yes, I have found myself stuck in the depression stage of my grief, I now reach out to my Bible and cry out to God and questioned him about his promises. “that he will never leave me or forsake me, that he will strengthen me.

Spending more time getting involved in prayer group meetings serving in my church, and reading the Bible is helping me past that stage.

It is good to connect with other. Many share in our grief and have experienced what we are going through. What helps me is to share the good things about the loved one , especially with those who knew the person
