The book of Revelation was written for us to understand and apply to our lives. What I have learned from the lecture is that it written in a style that addresses current events in the 1st century in symbolic way for impact.

By understanding the book of Revelation, I can begin to understand who God is. The best way to know God is to study his word, the Bible. As a Christian, I should want to study and know his word. Many people shy away from Revelation because of its symbolism which can be difficult to understand.

bible and the story of Christ. What I have learned so far is the beginning steps in putting together what was an impossible puzzle for me.
