When we understand that foolishness distracts and leads us from the path God created for us then can we understand the fact that the Gospel came to makeus wise and not just see God as a means to get things, but He’s the source of all things we think we need to be satisfied.

Its proper to understand that foolishness is something that was inherited down through humans ever since Adam and Eve and can only be broken by the knowledge of the word of God.

As Dr. Crabb states in his teaching, foolishness is bound in the heart of a child (Proverbs 22:15). He goes on to say unless the Spirit of God moves, that foolishness will develop until the person becomes a fool. The wonder of the Gospel that it takes foolishness and condemns it, exposes it, makes us look at how we are living foolishly. Through the redemptive work of Christ on man’s behalf and the Covenant of Grace extended to us, we can have a new life in God by a transformed mind.

Because if we can not understand what the fall of Adam and Eve did to man kind then we will never fully understand why we need God! Why Jesus died, What is the point in living for God and not just for ourselves , just as we do since birth. Also so be can also understand that we are not horrible human beings worse than anyone else. We are product of the fall and we all have fallen short form the glory of god.

Understanding the concept of foolishness helps us to realize how lost we truly are and the inexplicable value of what Jesus has done for us and the world through the salvation He provides.
