Why is prayer about more than simply requests or answers?

Pray is so much more than the dialogue it is the relationship and seeking God through prayer.

There is so much to understand about the way God thinks and how things happen. There is a reason for everything and often we don’t know the whole picture. God loves us all deeply but if we merely had to pray to get everything we wanted the world would be in chaos. We need to understand that God answers every prayer – often we don’t get the answer we wanted but we must be humble and understand why – it doesn’t mean he does not love us.

Prayer is about drawing closer to Jesus and the heavenly Father. Prayer is also for giving thanks to God for how He has worked in your live or in the lives of others. Prayer is about giving God the glory for answered prayers.

Prayer is our communication with God. It’s more than just requests and answers, it’s about our relationship with our Heavenly Father. It’s about our faith in Him. Do we trust Him? Do we believe His understanding and His ways are higher than ours?

I look at praying as similar to talking to a close friend. I wanted to share how I am doing, important events that happen and how is he doing . I wanted our closeness to each other be sustains and keep continuing.
