It is through prayer that we communicate and build our relationship with God. The more we pray the more we see God as our Father. Praying helps us to get stronger in our faith. Prayer draws us closer to Jesus and the love that God has for each of us.

Prayer fosters a deeper relationship with God. It’s a way to communicate, build intimacy, and express feelings, thoughts, and desires.

Prayer is a conversation with God and should reveal a desire to know and be in relationship with God. If we only went to God when we wanted something and He only gave us what we asked for He wouldn’t be our Heavenly Father. He would be someone we know of as opposed to someone we knew.

Prayer is about relationship with God. If God answers a request on top, that’s great. But even if I never utter a single request or if God doesn’t answer, prayer is still worth the while.

Prayer is an integral part of building a relationship with God. Prayer is another way we show Him praise and humility when we come to Him in trusting faith.
