Why is prayer about more than simply requests or answers?

Prayer is our way to communicate with God. Every good relationship has good communication.

Prayer is communication and builds our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. God’s understanding surpasses our understanding and we must surrender to Him and His will.

Think about connecting with someone – how do we do that?
Now let’s think about connecting with God – how have we and how are we learning to do that?
It’s a beautiful process and amazing that we can connect with our Heavenly Father anytime, and for whatever situation we face – He is right there – always available and willing to commune with us – how wonderful is that?

Because requests and answers are just transactional us and God is a relationship. He gave before we asked and sometimes he takes away or withholds. However in all, we know he loves us and knows what is best so we will persevere in the relationship regardless and be content with the actual answer he gives without making one up for Him.

It is mainly a process to grow in faith and get more intimate in our relationship with our Lord.
