Why is prayer about more than simply requests or answers?

What is prayer, its a means of communication with God, speaking to Him on a whole range of important topics, and not simply demanding things. God seeks a relationship, and this relationship can not be one of give me, over what I can do for Him.

It’s definitely about relationship. Prayer is also listening and trusting and believing in Jesus. God isn’t a Genie and we don’t have any magic wands. We have to trust Him even when it doesn’t make sense to us. His ways are not our ways.

It is about relationship with our Heavenly Father.

It is about our relationship with God and seeking Him out and our reliance and need for Him.

Because it is about being in relationship with God.
