If Jesus did not rise from the dead, I believe we would be wasting our time worshiping Him. He would just be an ordinary person. So, the resurrection of Jesus is very important.

Resurrection represents the finished work of the Cross, no resurrection would mean no victory over sin and death.

In the previous lesson concerning defending the faith to questioning Roman Catholics, it was stated, “He was buried in a grave. He resurrected three days later, indicating that His bloodshed was acceptable to God as a payment for the sins of sinners like you and me.”
