Why is true prayer about more than just words?

Because God sees my heart and sometimes I just sit in his presence at times feeling a desire or sadness and I just know he hears it and it says he catches my tears and keeps them and that brings me comfort so for me true prayer is way more than just words but being in his presence.

It comes from our heart as we open up to God.

It is about our heart towards the LORD.

True prayer is praying from the heart.

Prayer is more than simply about words. Ultimately, it is about our relationship with God.
