You take a child and sit them in a room with nothing to do. They will find something to do. They will look around and find anything that will help them to do something to create. So, it is for me to see what each child’s interests are so that I can teach them. Like a Mimosa tree. You touch the leaves, and they close up. As if the leaves are praying. Creation is teaching the children how God creates, and God has given everyone the mind to create including them. To see the children, advance and grow each year is an honor that is a blessing.

We were created in God’s image and we are responsible for the other things that God created. We as educators must be able to tell the truth to our students.

What we believe in is what we try to understand. Understanding usually establishes us to have dominion over a concept or issue. As a Christian educator, my understanding of God’s creation has enabled me to transfer that knowledge to my students.

It is important that a teacher believe that the world was designed and intentionally created, and that people were intentionally created. That gives purpose and meaning to life. It gives the students who are made in God’s image value as unique in God’s plan of creation and restoration.

What we believe about creation is important because we have to know the truth behind who created us and why we were put on this Earth. In this world, we also need our students to know who created them and that they were made in the image of God. We have to know the truth so that we can teach it correctly.
