We see our students as made in the image of God. God created each of my students to know and worship Him.

As an educator, I teach my students that God is a God of order and His creation represents that order. That nothing was created out of chaos or by chance. Every creature and every natural event proves that our Creator cared for every detail. He created the laws of nature that keep our universe functioning till this day.

That we were made in God’s image: to feel, think, love, create, plan, and care for our earth is an integral part of who we are. We must understand this truth before teaching all else.

If I believe things were created and started by anything other than God than I am claiming the Bible is flawed. If I am claiming my opinions are better than Scripture I cannot provide a good Christian Perspective that aligns with God’s Word. Thus it is important I hold the view I do that Genesis is correct and everything has been created and sustained by God.

Well… we would not be here if God had not created the world. It is important that our students know this. They need to know they are created in the image of God, and God created them to have a relationship with them. God also wants them to take care of the world He created for them.
