Deleted User07/15/2021 at 14:13Creation answers the questions of being. Who am I? What is my purpose? Why do I exist? Students, especially high school students, really have an identity issue. Knowing who they are and who they were created to be is an essential piece as they grow and mature.

Deleted User07/08/2021 at 13:29What I believe about creation shapes my worldview. What I believe I pass down to my students. It is important that I believe that God created the world as Genesis 1:1 tells us and that I help students understand how important it is that we begin science with that right thinking. God is a god of order and purpose not chaos. His fingerprint is all over this world and we need to help students see it. Genesis and creation are the answers to a lot of life’s big questions and I want students to know that and trust God’s Word as they ponder those questions.

Deleted User07/07/2021 at 09:59The Bible tells us that we are here because a loving God created us and this world. Based on that foundation, I can grow my faith and fulfill God’s plan for me. Without that foundation, I might be tempted to behave as if I were here by chance and nothing really matters.
