As we are integrating our Christian worldview into the curriculum, we cannot dismiss whole sections of the Bible as untrustworthy, then accept other sections as trustworthy, expecting our students not to do the same.

As a math teacher, I usually talk to my students at the beginning of the year about how math is a wonderful example of how we can observe God’s creation…not only can we use math to understand how our universe work and make predictions of how nature behaves, but God also created us with the ability to make and understand these discoveries. Believing in God as creator is also important because I realize that each of my students is created in His image, that none is an accident of nature. With this viewpoint, I teach with the knowledge that each student has the capacity to learn, each has their own unique talents, and each, with proper support, can be successful.
