What I believe about creation is important as my role as as Christian educator because it is why I am here and why everything is here.

“In the beginning…” is the launching pad for creation. As a Christian educator, I must believe, embrace and share my beliefs in regards to how “it all began”. I must support the Biblical proof of His creation, not evolution or some other idea for creation.

Creation is important to Biblical worldview and shapes our response to many other things.

Because it is one example of whether or not you believe that Scripture is true, accurate, and perfect. If you stake your life on something that has “a little problem”, that’s like walking a tightrope that’s a little bit frayed. It would be idiotic! Paul says we are the most to be pitied if Christ did not rise from the dead. The same would be true if any other piece of Scripture were to be found false.

Because if we can’t believe what the Bible says about creation, how can we believe the rest of the Bible.
