This truly goes back to the previous lesson. It hinges on what we believe about Scripture and its place in what we teach. If we believe that all Scripture is from God, that it is His Word to us, then we have to believe and teach creation to our students. What be believe about creation has to come from Genesis 1. Many debate about what a day is to God and what it means in this part of history, but many are theories that try to incorporate common beliefs of the times. We MUST look at what it says and what we know from Scripture to determine what and how we will teach what we KNOW to our students.

It is very important that all Christian educators understand and believe in our creation of existence so we can teach our students the entire truth of God’s creation .

God created everything. We were not simply made from a big bang or evolved from a different species. He specifically created us from His image.

Again, students will pick up on what you really believe. So, it is important to truly believe in creation.

It’s important because through my belief I am able to pass on knowledge to students. Hence, what a Christian educator believes in holds great importance for the upcoming generation.
