ALL scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching and rebuking. (2 Timothy 3:16)

    All means all.

If we say we don’t need the Old Testament, it’s not God’s Word we are seeking, it’s our own.

A reletionship with someone only starts with the meeting, but a deep reletionship develops through a complete understanding of the other’s journey to the present. Without the OT, we start the journey in the middle.

The New Testament quotes the old testament and is built upon the foundation of that history. It is the fullfillment of the Old Testament. It is why the new testament is true and relevant.
