The entire bible is God breathed and inspired and it gives us the entire picture of God’s redemption of humanity through Jesus Christ.

Since the bible is one whole story reading it without the old testament would be reading an incomplete story. The Old testament sets up the foundation for the new testament.

Because the Bible is made up of two Testaments – Old and New. Without grasping the OT the NT cannot be fully understood or appreciated; without the New, the Old is left incomplete. The Old Testament establishes the foundation of Truth. We can miss a lot of important information and the most part is about God and humankind. Even in this day and age we are still living just like the people in the OT times. We need guidance and to know who God is and what he is like.

Without a grasp of the O.T. the N.T. cannot be fully understood or appreciated, without the N.T. the O.T. is left incomplete. The O.T. establishes the foundation of truth, the N.T. then build the superstructure.

Because the OT testament is the foundation for the new testament
