The Old Testament is the foundation of the Bible and it helps us to understand the New Testament.

Without the knowledge that over thousands of years we have proved ourselves unable to come to God in righteousness on our own, Jesus’ gift of His life would fall short of it’s true glory

There would not be a foundation for the New Testament to stand on.

Of Christianity which was built on the Old Testament foundation. Its like building on sand. -
The OT sets the foundation for the NT.
