Students because I am a teacher and career coach.

With my children; in my church through Biblical knowledge and discernment; with my neighbors as they witness my life; and yes, those who God places in my path.

I agree with Pete. I have influence with my family, with my small groups, organizations I volunteer with, and with everyone I meet that God has placed in my path. All things come from God, so He is the source, and directs my paths.

I have influence in my cell group. That originates initially from my appointment by church as a cell leader, but I hope I have earned the credibility and respect from my members for it. I also relieved my pastor to take over a series of six Christian education lessons this year. It is interesting that gradually through those weeks the attendees started to call me Teacher instead of Brother. I’d like to think that I earned the influence as teacher, although that is not the way I was introduced to people.
