As a wife, mother and small group leader I do have influence in each role that I have taken on.

As a mother I have influence over my children. As a seasoned Christian I have influence over new believers and others in the faith (especially as a teacher). I have no titles nor do I hold any official position but my sphere of influence extends to all of the people that I meet each day. If I get a chance to speak to them a word of encouragement or merely smile at them or share in some way I extend a Godly influence. I have a variety of gifts and talents that I use to influence my sphere of the world for Christ every day.

I am currently in leadership of a women’s ministry. The source of that influence is Christ. He has taken an ordinary person to do an extraordinary task in working with women who have been battered, traumatized, and depressed. He has equipped me not only spiritually but also by putting in place a team of powerful, seasoned in Christ women who do not compromise and have the same goals and expectations in Christ as I do. The age ranges from 20’s to 80’s .

My family as the eldest sibling, my employees as the company president, my suppliers as a customer, my customers from my experience, my church by my service. All of this has been God given and while I oftentimes enjoy the authority/influence, sometimes it can be burdensome.
