I’ve had many positions in leadership throughout my 62 years of life. From being a band drum major, course president, Girl Scout leader, mother, running my own business, teacher, grandmother, to friend. I feel that my parents taught me to by lead example. To treat others as I would want to be treated. Now, I feel that my leadership is in showing others how to be forgiving. As a Jesus follower we are to be known for our love, His Love. HE is my greatest influence.

My influence with family, fellow Christians, friends, employees and colleauges resides in the positions I occupy as imperfect pastor and experienced Christian working out his own salvation with the proper respect for God and His kingdom purposes in my generation.

As a father, grandfather, eldest sibling and as an employer, I have influence, however it is only when I consider the needs of others, does that influence have any real effect. I was raised in church and became the classic prodigal and it wasn’t until much later in life did I become driven to be a Christian. Others have looked to me for reasons, I can not explain.

Younger women as a believer, mother, and chef, I am sixty six years old and gave my life to Christ a very young age.

Anyone within my circle of friends and personal interactions can be a source of influence. They are of varying positions, titles, ages, experiences and wisdom levels.
