1 and 2 Corinthians

If you haven’t felt the relevance of Paul’s letters yet, you certainly will in this module. The Corinthian church shares a lot in common with churches today, especially in the West. Can you guess what makes them similar?

We’ll explore a variety of dynamics going on in this ancient seaport—a crossroads of commodities, people groups and religious philosophies. How will believers in this cosmopolitan center respond to the call for purity and unity? That question is especially in view in 1 Corinthians. And what does Paul feel compelled to say about himself to get their attention? We’ll find the answer to that especially in 2 Corinthians.
