A great taster of Greek, so that the learner can go on to enroll for a higher course, or at Denver Seminary. Although this course is not very extensive, by virtue of being succinct, Emig has crystallized the key ideas of Greek. For instance, it clears some of the cobwebs I had from another course, so that now I understand why the infinitive, the verb acting as a noun, does not have a first or second or third person in its form. Thank you, Emig!

This course provided an interesting overview and complexity of the Greek language. It also demonstrated how important each aspect of the process is to the translation of Scripture.

This was a very interesting course. It never entered my mind, how the Greek had 3 voices, and we only have 1. I definitely learned something new from this course. Even the way the language is written is unique. Enjoyed the instructor, the way she presented the subject.

This course taught me some useful things about Greek and why there are variations in translations. Plus it shows how seriously I would need to study to really learn Greek. Though I got all questions right in the quizzes, I may listen to the courses again.

I am satisfied with the dexterity the lecturer handled the whole course. It inspired me to have a more inept knowledge of Koine Greek. It is an amazing learning experience.
-
I have enjoyed this course, and have gained a couple of new insights from it which will help me to dig a bit deeper in the language.

I really like Our Daily Bread University and plan to take more courses in the future. This is a poor course, and I would not recommend it to others. It moves too fast, and concepts are not explained. I had to do my own research to understand what was being taught in the lectures.
-
Its opened my interesting to go deeper in Greek language
-
It is okay for the basics as I was able to grasp the concepts. However, it was an overview, so it moved fast without really delving into too many specifics...which I guess was the assignment.
-
Overwhelming introduction and underwhelming presenter.
-
Good overview that will enrich my study.
-
This course is a helpful refresher for people who have done at least a semester of NT Greek. :)

A good course!
