In | Following the Master
Let’s dig into Matthew to understand what Jesus really meant by joining his Kingdom.
Jesus tells His disciples, “The student is not above the teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for students to be like their teachers, and servants like their masters” (Matt 10:24-25, NIV). The ministry that Jesus outlines for the disciples in Matthew 10:7-8 has direct parallels with his own ministry:
As you go, proclaim this message: “The kingdom of heaven has come near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.”
Complete the quiz below by matching the above instruction with aspects of Jesus’ own ministry provided.
