I thought the example of how the mercenaries in the Crusades would hold up their swords out of the water to symbolize that they would not give God control of how they use their swords was an interesting parallel to how people sometimes do not let God have ownership of their finances.
-
It is interesting that the mercenaries during the time of the Crusades held their words out of the baptism water, thinking that they did not have to surrender everything to Jesus. This is quite mocking of the way in which Christians are not fully surrendered to the Lord today.

In the section of God’s provision, what was interesting to me was the point about having a vision of who God is to effectively aknowledge and surrender God in our finances. Also how He is interested in every detail of us whilst running and being equally interested to the managing of the universe, like wow!!!!
-
I found revealing that once we surrender our finances to the Lord, how we handle His money, becomes spiritual decisions. And this falls in line with what I learned a few months ago first through a ministry called kingdom full tabernacles, how money is actually a spirit so that was very interesting.

Praying to God and learning that his word is the highest and in order to best discipline yourself is realizing that you don’t need everything, if you spend your money wisely, he can provide you with wealth. Remembering his thoughts and words are higher than our.

Money and Jesus is a huge competitor in people’s lives these days because some believes that if “I” have any money leftover after the rent, auto vehicle, food and other things to enhance their life styles, then I will give. But do realize that is a form of giving God your leftover. Just suppose that God gives us his leftover, it might not be to pleasant. Proverb 3:9 says to Honor the Lord with thy substance and with the first fruits of all thine increase.
-
YES! definitely. I mean we need money to live in this world so it makes sense why people go after it with their own understanding. But God owns everything, even the money receive.
-
That the more God bless us with money the more we want and forget that it belong to the Lord,
-
I experience myself how God bless me as prayed. I ask God how to use what He gave me in money and thing I have. I always gave it back to the Lord .

That’s hard to think about, again my thoughts are not His. I mean to be honest I think God wants me to start consistently tithing.
-
God want us to know that, because Him we have and thank God. Do the right thing with money.
-
God wants me to continue to become a better steward. If I am faithful in little then He will entrust me with much more both financially and spiritually. You can never outgive God. If we will just follow His plan, in our finances and in every other way, then He will richly bless us. Guaranteed. It is written in His Word, the Bible, and He never lies nor does He change. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
-
Manage it wisely, spend it conservatively, and grow it for his work.
